Laxmi continues to recover and has been transferred to the Food for Life Vrindavan medical center where she can rest and recouperate while the resident doctor at the center, Dr Jha, continues to clean and dress her wound. Dr Jha said that there are signs that the infection is healing and that Laxmi should be able to leave hospital within one month.
This is quite an amazing recovery since the burn was infected and left unhealed for over a year. In many cases, gangrene enters the bone and the limb has to be cut off, so Laxmi is quite lucky. With your help and support, her future is secure.
