Help us buy a FFLV employee a wheelchair

Madan Mohan Mishra has worked as a watchman at Sandipani Muni School, Food for Life Vrindavan for the past 4 years. The 57 year old lives in Vrindavan, near Kalideh, Darshan Shakti.

He has never been married and has no family, his parents passed away long time ago.

8 years ago, he was in a horrible accident when a bus ran over his leg. In the operation to save his life, the leg was amputated, leaving him handicapped.

Currently he walks using crutches as that was the easiest way for him to navigate the streets of Vrindavan. Now, a new road to the school has been built and we would like to help him get a wheel chair to help him get around. It gets hot and to walk far from the school to home on crutches is an extremely tiring job. Also walking with the crutches is also very tough on his shoulders.

When asked about his plans for the future, he said he would like to serve the school as long as he is alive. Madan Mohan Mishra does excellent work for us in service of our students, and we'd appreciate any help you can provide!

The cost of the wheelchair will be about Rs 5000 which is about 100 USD.
