Rani and her baby need your help!

About a week ago, we got a phone call from a local journalist. He reported that behind Fogla Ashram, Vrindavan, a lady was found with her two-month-old baby girl. The woman's name was Rani, she seemed mentally unstable, physically sick and wanted to abandon the baby.
Food for Life Vrindavan informed the concerned authorities. The police handed over the custody of the mother and the baby to one of the representatives of Food for life Vrindavan orphanage.
The next day, the mother was taken to a local hospital (Arogya Deep- Atalla Chungi, Vrindavan). She was seriously ill. After diagnosis the doctor informed us that she was Hepatitis B positive and severely anemic.
The baby was sent to Dr. B. C. Goyal- Pediatrician and had diagnosed. The doctor reported that baby was weak and started immunization-vaccination.

The baby, named Gaurangi, is in our Orphanage and doing well. The mother is now admitted in FFLV Medical Centre under treatment.

As we have no provision to keep a young lady, we applied to the City Magistrate for her to be sent to an Ashram for women. We are waiting for City Magistrate to take further action.

So far, we have spent Rs.5000/- as administration might take few more days so all together total Rs.10000/- ($200 USD) will be needed. Please donate what you can to help us care for this young family.
