Help a Sadhu to see again

An elderly Sadhu, 75 years old, who spends his days praying, chanting and giving spiritual advice to others, came to us asking us to help him get his eyes fixed. He has cataracts in both eyes and is finding it hard to read scriptures.

He is a simple man, who asks nothing from life but to live in an ashram and sing bajans and chant japa, as he has been doing for the last 20 years, so we thought that it would be nice to do this service for him. With our help, he will be able to continue to see properly and read scriptures in the twilight years of his life.

His doctors say that they need to do one operation at a time, so, as soon as we collect the money, he can have the first eye fixed, then after one month, the other eye will be done. To fix one eye, it is US$175 -including operation costs and medicines- so for both eyes, it will be US$350.

This is your chance to help someone who has spent their life in service to others and to God.
