Shankar Dayal update – December 5th, 2007

He visited the doctor on 2^nd December for a follow up after his first surgery on 7/10/07. (discharged on 15/10/07) . Approx cost of first surgery was Rs 10,000.

The improvement he finds is that he can now open his eyes more and mouth too, so that he can eat. He feels it is better than before. He is still unable to speak very much. As he cannot open his mouth completely. He is quite comfortable he says and looking forward to having the next reconstructive surgery.

The next surgery, on the nose and face to address these issues will be in January. He will get a date in the first week of January for the next surgery.
